For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), the data controller is David Burns – contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will only collect and process information about you in accordance with this Policy. By using our Platform, you consent to such processing.
When you register with the Platform you will create an account (“Your Account”). This account is unique to you, and we will only accept one fan account and/or one artist account per registrant. Once you have registered with the Platform, you shall be entitled to subscribe to as many Artist areas on the Platform as you would like (in accordance with these Terms and Conditions).
TF does not use personal information or data surveillance for advertising or sharing with any 3rd parties for the purposes of data surveillance for advertising. We keep data needed only to deliver our personalised service and to improve our Platform.
We may collect and process data about you such as provided when you register to TF or otherwise fill in forms on the Platform, including your name, age, date of birth, address, email address, gender, mobile number and creativity genre preferences. We may also ask you for information when you transact on TF or report a problem.
Financial payment details such as Card details are not kept by TF. Certified payment processing companies such as SumUp and PayPal keep card or transaction details.
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We (or our agents) may also ask you to complete optional surveys that we use for research purposes. We may invite you to events and/or notify you of relevant TF activities. We may also collect information about your computer, mobile phone or other devices such as Tablets. Including IP address, operating system and browser data.
Use of personal data is to ensure that the Platform operates effectively for you. We will provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we believe may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes. Anonymous data is kept for insight to improve the Platform.
Data is also kept to ensure that we meet our obligations to you contractually, enable you to participate in features and facilities of TF when you choose to do so, to notify you of any changes to TF. We are authorized to contact you with information about goods and services that may be of interest to you. Your contact details may be shared with the Artists that you are subscribed to or interested in for subsequent contact and mailing lists.
Your personal information may be shared with any parent or group companies of TF as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006. We may disclose your personal information to third parties to comply with business or legal requirements or for fraud and credit protection.
We may also record visits to our Platform including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, analytics, weblogs and other communication data. Analytics collect and store anonymous statistical data about Platform usage.
You must maintain the security of your password and Your Account. We cannot guarantee data security when you transmit data to our Platform and as such, this is at your own risk.
Note that you are responsible for your own posting of your information and as such, should exercise care and diligence in the information you post on TF or any other platform.
